Netflix Scores Dynasty Reboot

Netflix has secured the rights for The CW’s upcoming reboot of Dynasty for all international territories outside of the U.S.

The series is described as a modernized reboot of the 1980s soap. It follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. The drama series is produced by CBS Television Studios and sold by CBS Studios International.

The executive producers are Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Sallie Patrick, Esther and Richard Shapiro (the creators of the original Dynasty) and Brad Silberling.
