Mata Hari Set for MIPCOM World Premiere TV Screening

PARIS: Mata Hari, which tells the story of the infamous dancer, courtesan and World War I spy of the same name, has been lined up for the Sunday night MIPCOM 2016 World Premiere TV Screening.

The English-language drama is based on a true story. The series stars French actress Vahina Giocante (The Libertine) in the title role and features an international cast that includes Christopher Lambert (Highlander) and John Corbett (Sex and the City). All three will attend MIPCOM, together with other cast members Svetlana Khodchenkova (Wolverine) and Maxim Matveïev (Weekend), and take part in a Q&A session directly following the screening.

Distributed worldwide by Red Arrow International, the 12×1-hour series is produced by Star Media in partnership with Channel One Russia and Inter Ukraine. It is directed by Dennis Berry (Highlander, Stargate SG-1) and Julius Berg.

The World Premiere TV Screening for Mata Hari is scheduled on Sunday, October 16, in the Palais des Festivals at 9:30 p.m.
