Knightfall Scores Global Pickups

NEW YORK: A+E Networks has licensed the original HISTORY drama Knightfall into a slew of global markets, including Australia, China and Israel.

The ten-episode series, an A+E Studios production in association with The Combine and Midnight Radio, is headed to SBS Two (Australia), HBO and Cinemax (Central Europe, Poland, Spain and Andorra), iQiyi and BesTV (China), Sirkus (Iceland), YES (Israel), FilmBox Premium (Central and Eastern Europe) and iflix (Southeast Asia). The drama, which stars Tom Cullen (Downton Abbey), will also air on HISTORY in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

Knightfall is created and executive produced by Don Handfield (Touchback, The Founder, Kill the Messenger) and Richard Rayner (L.A. Without A Map), with Jeremy Renner (The Avengers, Arrival, The Hurt Locker) also serving as executive producer.
