FOX Taps Freeform’s Brooke Bowman for Senior Drama Post

LOS ANGELES: Brooke Bowman, a 12-year veteran of Freeform (formerly ABC Family), has been named senior VP of drama programming and development at FOX.

Bowman is responsible for supervising the development and production of new and returning scripted series for the network. She is based in Los Angeles and reports to Terence Carter, FOX’s executive VP of drama development and programming.

Bowman joins FOX from Freeform, where she most recently served as senior VP of development and programming. In that role, she oversaw a number of the network’s biggest hits, including Baby Daddy, Shadowhunters, Switched at Birth, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Greek and Kyle XY. She also brought in and developed Freeform’s upcoming drama from Tim Kring, Beyond.
