Glimpse, an eight-part sci-fi series set in the future, has debuted on the Facebook Watch video service.

From Gunpowder & Sky’s DUST and Futurism, the series follows eight individuals who reckon with the rapidly changing components of the human condition, connecting with the world through technology in very different, unexpected ways. Glimpse premieres first on Facebook Watch, to be followed by a debut on DUSTx, a new destination for science fiction that recently launched for download on Roku.

“Starring an amazing cast, each individual episode explores a different technology shaping our lives, and is stylishly crafted by breakthrough talent Samtubia & Samgoma,” said Floris Bauer, co-founder and president of Gunpowder & Sky. “Partnering with Geoff Clark and the Futurism team has been an absolute joy, and we are looking forward to releasing our new series to a global audience across our multiple channels”

“In Glimpse, we crafted each episode based on futuristic technologies that were previously popular in the Futurism.com editorial coverage, then ideated short stories about how that technology might ultimately change who we are and what our daily lives might be like,” said, Geoff Clark, president of Futurism Studios. “By partnering with DUST, and premiering on Facebook Watch, we are excited that the series will reach audiences for free across the globe and on multiple platforms far beyond our own.”
