CBS TV Studios Enters Overall Deal with Barbara Hall

LOS ANGELES: Barbara Hall, the creator and executive producer of Madam Secretary, has secured a new two-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios.

Under the pact, Hall will continue to serve as showrunner on Madam Secretary, in addition to creating and developing new projects for the studio. Hall also created two other drama series for CBS, the long-running Judging Amy as well as Joan of Arcadia.

Madam Secretary, which stars Téa Leoni, is averaging 12.47 million viewers in the Sunday 8 p.m. time slot. It’s currently in season two.
