BBC Worldwide’s premium drama channel BBC First is slated to launch on Caiway in the Netherlands later this month.

BBC First can currently be accessed in 6.7 million Dutch households, offering such series as Sherlock, Luther, Silent Witness, Death in Paradise and The Durrells, among others. The channel first launched in 2015. It will become available to Caiway’s 200,000 subscribers on June 15.

The Good Karma Hospital will make its territory debut exclusively on BBC First in August, while Maigret: Night at the Crossroads premieres on June 24. Also slated to air this summer are Rillington Place, the second season of The Coroner, the 11th installment of Midsomer Murders and Born to Kill.

Simon Cottle, the distribution director for Northern Europe at BBC Worldwide, said: “We are proud to add Caiway as one of the providers of BBC First in the Netherlands after its proven success on other platforms in the region. It’s great to see Dutch audiences enjoying British drama, and by adding Caiway, we are able to offer unmissable series to even more households.”

BBC First is also available in Australia, Belgium, Hong Kong, North Africa, Malaysia, the Middle East, Singapore and South Africa.
