Jarowskij, a Banijay Group company, has brought in Oscar-nominated producer Annica Bellander Rune to its drama team.

Bellander Rune previously worked with the production company Stella Nova, where she produced A Man Called Ove for SF Studios. She will now serve as a producer in Jarowskij’s drama department.

Jarowskij’s drama department is behind such successes as The Restaurant, Sunny Side, Black Lake, Morran & Tobias and Finaste Familjen.

“I see Jarowskij as a strong and innovative production company that is truly dedicated to drama and I really look forward to becoming a part of their team,” said Bellander Rune.

Johanna Bergenstråhle, the head of drama development at Jarowskij, commented: “The interest in drama has never been greater than today—and the competition is extremely tough. The best way to compete and to give yourself an advantage on the market is to surround yourself with as competent, talented and enthusiastic people as possible because it is them who makes the difference. With that said, it is an honor for us to have Annica as part of Jarowskij and we are very excited to take the next step with her and strengthen our successful drama department even more.”
