American Crime Story’s Versace Series Moved Up

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is now set as the second installment of FX’s limited series franchise from Ryan Murphy.

Production of the Versace series began in April and it is tentatively slated to debut in early 2018. Katrina: American Crime Story was originally scheduled as the second installment in the ACS franchise, but now becomes the third, with production scheduled for early 2018. FX’s first installment of ACS, The People v. O.J. Simpson, received 22 Emmy Award nominations and won nine Emmys.

Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk and Tom Rob Smith are executive producers of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
