Amazon Picks Up Cloak & Dagger for Europe

Amazon has licensed Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger to bring to Prime Video customers across Europe.

Cloak & Dagger, which will launch in the U.S. on Freeform, will be available on Prime Video in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy in June, a day after the U.S. premiere. The Marvel series tells the story of two teenagers from different backgrounds who find themselves burdened and awakened by their new powers.

As part of the deal with Disney, Amazon also scored the sci-fi mystery The Crossing, which debuts in the U.S. on ABC on April 2. It will become available on Prime Video in the U.K. and Ireland on April 3 and in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria on April 27.
