Amazon On Board Two Brothers’ Drama White Dragon

Amazon has come on board the new ITV thriller White Dragon, which stars John Simm, Anthony Wong, Emilia Fox and Dervla Kirwan.

Produced by Two Brothers Pictures, the conspiracy thriller was created and written by screenwriting newcomers Mark Denton and Jonny Stockwood. The series will premiere on ITV before airing on Amazon Prime as an exclusive in the U.S. all3media international will handle global distribution for the drama.

Simm plays Professor Jonah Mulray, who learns that his wife, Megan (Kirwan), has died in a car accident on the beautiful mountain roads at the top of Tai Po overlooking Hong Kong. Jonah feels he must unravel the circumstances of her death, following an emotional voicemail left by his wife just seconds before she died.

White Dragon is directed by Paul Andrew Williams (Broadchurch, The Eichmann Show, Murdered by My Boyfriend), who also executive produces the eight-part series alongside Jack Williams and Harry Williams (Liar, The Missing, Fleabag). Matthew Bird (Decline and Fall, The Musketeers, Fortitude) produces the series. Marston Bloom (Marcella, New Tricks, Vera), Adam Gyngell and Fred Armesto have written episodes four, five and six, respectively.
