Acorn On Board Irish Legal Drama Striking Out

SILVER SPRING: Acorn Media Enterprises has aligned with Blinder Films, DCD Rights and RTÉ to co-produce the new Irish legal drama Striking Out.

The four-parter centers on the professional and personal life of Dublin-based solicitor Tara, played by Amy Huberman (The Clinic, Moone Boy), and her fledgling law firm. The series will premiere on RTÉ in early 2017 and will make its U.S. debut on Acorn TV later in the year.

Acorn Media Enterprises will be the co-producing partner for North America, and has acquired rights in the U.K., Eire, Australia and New Zealand.
