Corus Entertainment and Bell Media have terminated their share purchase agreement for the French-language specialty channels Historia and Séries+.

The commissioner of competition did not approve the sale of these channels by Corus to Bell. For now, Corus will continue to own and operate Historia and Séries+.

Séries+ is Québec’s most-watched fiction channel, offering popular locally produced drama as well as international series. Historia broadcasts a range of locally produced original content, ranging from award-winning documentaries and reality series to dramas.
