Corus’s 2018-19 Highlights Include 37 Commissions

Corus Entertainment has unveiled its slate of new and returning Canadian original programming for 2018-19, with more than 37 commissions.

In the kids’ space, YTV will roll out the new originals Star Falls and Go Away Unicorn. Teletoon’s lineup includes the new originals Cupcake & Dino: General Services, Total DramaRama, Chop Chop Ninja and Spaceman & Robotron, as well as the previously announced new series Bravest Warriors.

Preschool network Treehouse is slated to premiere the new originals Snow Snaps, Miss Persona and Corn & Peg, as well as a new season of Max & Ruby and the previously announced upcoming show Esme & Roy.

In the lifestyle arena, Food Network Canada is debuting the first-ever Iron Chef Canada, as well as the new series Fire Masters and the tentatively titled Ultimate Food Bucket List. There is also another installment of Top Chef Canada, among many other previously announced new seasons and series.

Global, meanwhile, has new seasons of Big Brother Canada, Mary Kills People, Private Eyes, Border Security and Entertainment Tonight Canada.
