Corner Gas: The Movie to Simulcast on CTV, CTV Two

TORONTO: Next month, CTV and CTV Two are slated to simulcast Corner Gas: The Movie, a film based on the hit Canadian comedy series that aired from 2004 to 2009.

Corner Gas: The Movie is due to debut on CTV, CTV Two and CTV GO on December 17 at 8 p.m. The two-hour film, which stars the original ensemble cast, will see the residents of Dog River, Saskatchewan, face their biggest crisis ever. It is slated to screen in select Cineplex and Landmark theaters in Canada from December 3 to 7.

There will be an all-new ETALK preview special, ETALK Presents Corner Gas: The Movie, on CTV and CTV GO on December 12 at 7 p.m. Subscribers of The Movie Network will get a special sneak peek of Corner Gas: The Movie on December 8 at 9 p.m. The film will also premiere on The Comedy Network on December 22 at 8 p.m.

Corner Gas: The Movie is co-produced by Corner Gas The Movie (ON) and Corner Gas The Movie (SK) in association with Bell Media, Telefilm Canada, Cineplex Entertainment, Tourism Saskatchewan, Creative Saskatchewan, the Canada Media Fund, the Bell Fund, Cogeco and Prairie Pants Distribution, which also represents the worldwide distribution rights. The Collectors DVD will be distributed in Canada by Video Services Corp.
