The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and South Africa’s National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) have launched a dedicated incentive for the co-development of TV projects between Canadian and South African producers.

Eligible projects are television programs in the drama, documentary, or children and youth genres. The total amount of funding available through the incentive is approximately CAD $120,000 or ZAR 1,200,000 ($92,000), with each organization contributing half.

Applications are being accepted until October 10, 2018. Producers who are seeking an international partner as part of this incentive can post a profile of their company on the CMF website.
