New CEO at YOU On Demand

NEW YORK: Mingcheng Tao has become CEO of the Chinese VOD platform YOU On Demand.

Tao has also joined the company’s board of directors, alongside the addition of Pao-Yun (Polly) Wang. Most recently, Tao served as the CEO and director of BesTV Network Television Technology Development, which provides IPTV, OTT, mobile TV and internet video services in China. Tao previously served as the president of Shanghai Interactive Television and VP of Shanghai Television Broadcasting Group.

He is a highly experienced executive with a track record of growing revenues, and therefore very well qualified to lead the company through the next stages of its growth strategy.”
