NBCUniversal International Shakes Up AsiaPac TV Team

SINGAPORE: NBCUniversal International has appointed Ling Sze Gan and Paul Valentin to senior sales roles within its television business in the Asia Pacific.

Gan has been named VP of affiliate sales and branded digital partnerships for NBCU International Networks in Asia. Her appointment is effective as of January 21, and she will report directly to Christine Fellowes, the managing director of NBCUniversal International Networks, Asia. Gan joins the company from Sony Pictures Television Networks, Asia, where she served as VP of affiliate sales and media partnerships. Her 19-year career in the media industry has also seen her hold senior programming and acquisitions posts at companies such as BBC Worldwide, Discovery and AETN International.

Valentin is taking on the newly created role of VP of sales strategy and development for Asia Pacific. He is relocating from London to Singapore and will report to Jay McNamara, the executive VP of strategy development and analysis. Valentin has spent ten years at NBCUniversal International’s headquarters in London, where he most recently served as director of strategy and analysis.
