Deals Worth $200-Million-Plus Inked at ATF/ScreenSingapore

SINGAPORE: Asia TV Forum & Market and ScreenSingapore wrapped Friday with record attendance of 5,383 and more than $244 million worth of deals scored at the event.

The two events featured 738 exhibiting companies from around the world, with 21 delegations representing Australia, Canada, China, France, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey and the U.K.

Highlights of the pre-market conference included a panel with analysts from Ovum, Nielsen, Kantar Media, Ernst & Young and IHS Technology talking about the role of telcos, digital transformation, emerging technologies and other factors reshaping the media landscape; a session with executives from Hulu Japan, HOOQ, AwesomenessTV and LeTV on OTT; and a keynote by MNC’s David Audy on the challenges and opportunities of the Indonesian TV market.
