Chinese Drama Acquisitions for FOX Networks Group Asia

FOX Networks Group Asia (FNGA) has expanded its Chinese drama slate, taking on the rights to broadcast and distribute Queen Dugu outside of the mainland.

In addition to the deal with Zhejiang Huace Film & TV for the 60-episode period drama Queen Dugu, FNGA has taken on the rights for Martial Universe in a pact with Tianjin Azure Media. Martial Universe is a 62-part martial-arts fantasy series adapted from the book of the same name. Both productions will air on STAR Chinese Channel (SCC) and on FOX+.

Other prominent Chinese-language dramas rolling out on FNGA include Ruyi’s Love in the Palace, due to air in Q1 2018, Tiger Mom, May December Love 2, Go Lala Go 2 and Meet Miss Anxiety.
