Bull, Twin Peaks Set for Japan’s WOWOW

LOS ANGELES/TOKYO: CBS Studios International has licensed a package of shows to Japanese pay-TV provider WOWOW, which has scored the first window for the new Twin Peaks.

In addition to Twin Peaks, the agreement includes first-window broadcast rights in Japan for Bull, which stars Michael Weatherly, and the murder-mystery series American Gothic. These three series will be broadcast on WOWOW’s Prime channel.

“The series in this agreement represent the strength and variety of CBS and Showtime programming available to broadcasters around the world,” said Barry Chamberlain, the president of sales at CBS Studios International. “We are thrilled to have expanded our portfolio of programming with WOWOW, bringing more of our compelling and creative storytelling to audiences across Japan.”
