beIN Sports Scores Thai Carriage

BANGKOK: Expanding its Asian presence, beIN Sports is set to be offered on Thailand's leading pay-TV platform, TrueVisions, beginning this week.

The channel, beIN SPORTS 1, will become available to the platform's subscribers tomorrow (February 5). The channel holds the broadcast rights for, among others, the Scottish Professional Football League, Major League Soccer (MLS), the Brazil World Tour, ATP 250 tennis, RBS Six Nations rugby and the Spanish Basketball League. It also offers club content from Liverpool TV, Spurs TV and Paris St-Germain, summer soccer friendlies, docs, magazine series and more.

The channel has already secured carriage in Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan. “Thailand is a new and very important market for beIN SPORTS and we are very excited about our launch on Thailand’s leading pay-TV platform in TrueVisions," said Nasser Al Khelaifi, chairman of beIN SPORTS.
