ATF Spotlight: CJ E&M Corporation

SINGAPORE: Among the ATF highlights being presented by CJ E&M Corporation is Reply 1988, the third installment of tvN’s successful youth series.

“The franchise is known for casting fresh faces and launching careers, and I believe we’re delivering a buzz-worthy ensemble, this time with Hyeri from Girl’s Day and Go Kyung Pyo,” says Don Kang, CJ E&M’s senior manager of international sales.

Another title from the company’s catalogue is Bubble Gum, which Kang describes as an “adult fairy tale” about the friendship between a man and a woman. There is also Cheese in the Trap, a new romantic comedy adapted from the popular web comic of the same name. “We’re excited to have Park Hae-jin (You from Another Star, Bad Guys) on board to play the main character,” Kang says of Cheese in the Trap.

Kang adds: “We’re looking forward to finalizing and announcing some major deals from across the Asian region during ATF.”
