A+E Networks Taps North Asia Content & Development Head

NEW YORK: A+E Networks has hired Sun Young Moon as the company’s head of content and development for North Asia.

Moon will work out of Seoul under Saugato Banerjee, A+E Networks’ general manager for North Asia. She will oversee all content planning and initiatives across Japan and Korea in support of the company’s continued growth across those territories, including leading significant expansion in local original content and overseeing program acquisitions and scheduling. She will collaborate with the local GMs and content teams in both countries.

Prior to this appointment, Moon worked for FOX International Channels (FIC) as VP of programming and channel head of National Geographic Channels Asia, Star World Asia and Channel [V] Asia. She first joined the company as part of the National Geographic Channel (NGC) team in FIC Korea and later relocated to the Middle East to manage NGC Abu Dhabi. She then moved to FIC Hong Kong to supervise the National Geographic Channels Asia team.
