TEL AVIV: TV5MONDE has picked up the ready-mades of Armoza Formats’s dramedy Karl & Max and will air the series on its 11 channels across 200 countries.

The 10×60-minute series will air on TV5MONDE’s channels beginning next spring. Karl & Max follows the titular characters as they discover a body and a bag filled with a gun and millions in cash when they go on a fishing trip. They are thrust into the world of organized crime and must try to save themselves and return to their normal lives.

Armoza distributes both the format and the finished series. This deal represents the first partnership between Armoza Formats and TV5MONDE.

Yves Bigot, the CEO of TV5MONDE, commented, “We are proud to add this great Canadian series filled with adventure, suspense and humor to our roster of North American French-speaking programs.”
