ATLANTA: A new multi-year carriage deal has been signed between Turner Broadcasting System and the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) that includes Cartoon Network, among other channels.

Cartoon Network and Boomerang, as well as CNN, HLN, TNT, TBS, TCM, truTV and others will continue to be carried by NCTC’s nearly 1,000 independent cable operator members across the U.S. As part of the agreement, NCTC members will have the rights to carry a slew of entertainment, kids, news, sports and young adults programming, in addition to on-demand content. This includes hit series such as Regular Show and Adventure Time from Cartoon Network, along with TBS’s Conan and TNT’s Falling Skies, among other offerings.

“The extension of our comprehensive renewal agreement with the NCTC highlights the growing value of the Turner portfolio and drives home our commitment to deliver marquee content to their customers,” said David Levy, the president of sales, distribution and sports at Turner Broadcasting System. “We’re proud to continue our long relationship with the NCTC and the viewers they serve.”
