LONDON: Sky Vision has entered into an exclusive output distribution deal with the Australian broadcaster Foxtel.

Sky Vision will now represent Foxtel’s original slate. The titles join Sky Vision’s international catalog on an exclusive basis, with Foxtel managing distribution in Australia and New Zealand directly. The deal includes the latest series from Australian food stylist, magazine editor and best-selling author Donna Hay, Donna Hay: Basics to Brilliance. New projects include a factual series following Lawrie Voitier (featured in Aussie Pickers), as well as Maggie Beer’s latest series. Both titles will be made available by Sky Vision later this year.

Jane Millichip, the managing director of Sky Vision, said: “Foxtel’s commitment to original programming is impressive, and we are delighted that Sky Vision is able to represent them exclusively. The deal was borne out of a strong existing relationship and shared investment in, and exploitation of, quality entertainment.”

Ross Crowley, the director of content and movies at Foxtel, said: “We look forward to working with our partners at Sky Vision, and broadening the viewership of Foxtel’s diverse slate of Australian productions, exposing our programming to a global audience.

“We are committed to producing original Australian stories for our customers and providing a wide range of content across lifestyle, drama and factual. We look forward to our successful Australian series finding new homes in other markets around the world.”
