Pulse Films Expands Branded-Entertainment Team

LONDON/NEW YORK: Pulse Films has appointed Eric Tu and Stephen Whelan to executive producer positions in its branded-entertainment division, effective immediately.

Tu will be based in New York, while Whelan will work out of the London headquarters. Tu and Whelan will work alongside the teams in their respective territories to bolster the company’s creative, strategic and production capabilities in the branded-entertainment space.

Tu joins Pulse Films with more than 18 years of experience in the industry, including in music, technology, arts, film and advertising. Tu co-founded Persuade & Influence, the live-action division of the animation studio PSYOP. Most recently, he collaborated with R/GA and Mindride as head of content development for the Ad Council’s multi-Cannes Lion-winning project, Love Has No Labels.

Whelan comes to Pulse Films from his post as founder and executive producer of Blink Productions’s hybrid agency, White Lodge TV.
