Polish Deals for Off the Fence

AMSTERDAM, June 13: Off the Fence has secured two deals in
Poland in advance of the Central and Eastern European programming market DISCOP
next week.

A package of three one-hour specials has been sold to TVP2: Cherub
of the Mist about Ailurus Fulgens, or Red
Pandas, in India; Cicada Films’ The Year Without Summer, about a volcanic eruption in Indonesia in 1815 that
is believed to have caused a cataclysmic effect on the world’s climate; and Crown
of Thorns Starfish, looking at an
intriguing resident of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

In addition, Ale Kino! acquired the Ultimate Super series. These 3×1-hour episodes review the pop
culture fascination with heroes, villains and vixens from the world of movies,
comic books and video games. The series is produced by Prometheus Entertainment
and Fox Television Studios.
