What are some of your top properties for MIPTV?
We will be offering the 3-D remake of Vicky the Viking which is currently in production together with Enyo, Florrie´s Dragons, Kerwhizz and Zeke´s Pad.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?
Our major classics such as Vicky the Viking, Maya The Bee and Heidi are very popular and have been watched by up to three generations. They are one the leading brands in German speaking territories, most of Europe and internationally. We believe that the new modernized and revived classics will continue to be watched now and by future generations and appeal to buyers.
With multiple genres our shows offer many different formats and techniques ranging from for example animation, live action and a quiz show. We have character-driven stories offering comedy, fantasy, action and adventure with strong storylines targeting both girls and boys. For pre-schoolers there’s fun, entertainment, memorable characters and engaging stories blended with educational elements. We intend to offer programming that has international appeal and which fits various age groups.
The fantasy and 3D adventure animation Enyo is a powerful, epic fantasy series with remarkable images of a prehistoric world. Enyo takes us on a spectacualr journey of fun and wild adventure through reading hidden messages and learning to understand the language of animals this series will appeal for its stunning visual content and storyline.
Based on books which are successfully published in the UK by Hodder Children’s Books Florrie’s Dragons includes charming adventures and the discovery of the meaning of friendship. This truly magical show tells the story of a little princess called Florrie, living in a castle who explores the world together with her friends, her very special dragon friends.
Billed as a "breakthrough multi-platform entertainment format" Kerwhizz is the first ever quiz show aimed at pre-school children. The show combines a live action quiz featuring a real set, real kids and puppet teams which tranforms into an animated race sequence which will keep kids at home, online and in the studio guessing until the finish line. Visually stunning and packed with gags this series is tremendous fun and will appeal to children and grown-ups alike. Designed to be interactive Kerwhizz is a truly unique property.
Zeke´s Pad in 3D animation toonshader gives the show a very strong visual look. With its fast paced comedy, the series deals with the same problems that teens have today in a humorous way and hits the mark with its strong everyday youth cultural elements – for example music, ipod and skateboard.

What are some of the trends you’re currently seeing in this market?
Due to the success of talent shows and daily soaps in ‘grown-up’/adult programming, there is now a huge demand for live-action programs for children and the pre-teen audience. Comedy, drama and shows that deal with young media stars are the favourite products being requested by broadcasters.
The second trend is fast-paced, action-packed educational shows for preschoolers, using for example different kinds of ‘vehicles’ or animals to teach and try out social skills amongst children.
Finally we are seeing a return to traditional characters and programs, mainly in the area of preschool programming. Renowned characters are starring in newly produced adventures that intentionally keep up the “retro”-appeal. Interestingly 3D CGI seems to be one of the adequate new techniques to master this challenge. A state-of-the-art remake of the classic series Vicky the Viking for example will be produced by Studio100 in this technique.

What are your goals and expectations MIPTV?
Studio100 Media now has an extensive library of new and existing programming which we will be offering to buyers and we expect to sell our key properties into an increasing number of European markets and internationally. We will focus on offering the remake of Vicky the Viking and the new 3D fantasy adventure Enyo.
We will continue with our sales activities, network with our existing partners, meet with new customers, establish co-production and co-financing partners for new projects and productions and pursue third party content.
