Paramount Network Orders Ron Howard Pilot

Paramount Network has issued a pilot order for 68 Whiskey, adapted from the Israeli series Charlie Golf One and set to be directed and executive produced by Ron Howard.

68 Whiskey was developed as part of the programming partnership between Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. It is being adapted from Charlie Golf One, produced by United Studios of Israel and yes TV.

Exec producing alongside Howard are Brian Grazer, Imagine Television Group’s chairman Francie Calfo, and Roberto Benabib, who is also set to write. Zion Rubin, the creator of Charlie Golf One, will also executive produce along with Efrat Shmaya Dror from the United Studios of Israel and Danna Stern from yes Studios.

The show focuses on a multicultural mix of men and women deployed as Army medics in Afghanistan.
