The linear TV rights for the Netflix hit Narcos are now available, and the drama is a key focus for Gaumont.

“When Narcos season three premiered this past September, it dominated the month as the number one most in-demand Netflix title in the U.S. and number five most popular global title, according to Parrot Analytics,” says Vanessa Shapiro, the president of worldwide TV distribution and co-production at Gaumont. “With Narcos’ linear rights becoming available for the first time, this is an important time for us to have dedicated executives on the ground, and we are delighted to welcome to the Gaumont team Ezequiel Olzanski as VP of Latin American TV distribution and co-productions.”

The company is also presenting the drama The Art of Crime and the kids’ title Belle and Sebastian.
