MIP Cancun Session to Focus on Production in Mexico & Spain

MIP Cancun has lined up the session Mexico and Spain: Creativity and Production Efficacy Explored, with Raúl Berdonés, the president at Grupo Secuoya, and Epigmenio Ibarra, the CEO at Argos Comunicación, moderated by TV Latina’s Elizabeth Bowen-Tombari.

Scheduled for Wednesday, November 14, from 5:15 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. at the Cancun Theater, the panel will see the executives share their views on best practices in development, narratives, and production and talent management. Bowen-Tombari, the editor of TV Latina, will lead the conversation.

A few months ago, Grupo Secuoya, through its La ciudad de la tele, became the first production hub in Europe for Netflix. The company also has operations in different countries in Latin America.

Argos Comunicación has developed two seasons of the series Ingobernable for Netflix and has started production on a new original series for the streaming service titled Yankee. The company has also worked with Telemundo, Comedy Central and HBO, among others.
