The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Ozark Lead SAG Awards TV Nominations

The nominations for the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards have been revealed, with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Ozark leading on the TV side with four nods each.

Barry, GLOW, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Kominsky Method each received three nominations.

Contenders for best drama series ensemble are the casts of The Americans, Better Call Saul, The Handmaid’s Tale, Ozark and This Is Us. On the comedy side, the casts of Atlanta, Barry, GLOW, The Kominsky Method and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are nominated.

Individual performance nods went to Julia Garner (Ozark), Laura Linney (Ozark), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Robin Wright (House of Cards) for best actress in a drama series. On the best actor in a drama series side, the competition is between Jason Bateman (Ozark), Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale), John Krasinski (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul).

Alex Borstein (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Alison Brie (GLOW), Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Jane Fonda (Grace and Frankie) and Lily Tomlin (Grace and Frankie) are up for best actress in a comedy series. Male actor in a comedy nominees are Alan Arkin (The Kominsky Method), Michael Douglas (The Kominsky Method), Bill Hader (Barry), Tony Shalhoub (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Henry Winkler (Barry).

In the TV movie/miniseries arena, performance nods went to Antonio Banderas (Genius: Picasso), Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), Hugh Grant (A Very English Scandal), Anthony Hopkins (King Lear) and Bill Pullman (The Sinner). Female actor nominees for TV movie/miniseries are Amy Adams (Sharp Objects), Patricia Arquette (Escape at Dannemora), Patricia Clarkson (Sharp Objects), Penélope Cruz (The Assassination of Gianni Versace) and Emma Stone (Maniac).

Nods for outstanding action performance by a stunt ensemble in a comedy or drama series went to GLOW, Marvel’s Daredevil, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Walking Dead and Westworld.
