Lee Raftery Takes on Expanded Remit at NBCU

LONDON: Lee Raftery has been named executive VP of marketing and communications for NBCUniversal International, reporting directly to chairman Kevin MacLellan. 

Based in London, Raftery currently oversees all marketing for NBCUniversal International Television. With an expanded remit, in a newly created position, Raftery will continue his oversight for marketing activity but will do so across NBCU's TV and new-media businesses outside the U.S. He also takes on responsibility for corporate communications and marketing across the international business.

MacLellan commented, “Lee is a highly experienced senior executive whose stewardship of marketing across International Television has been exemplary. I believe that his expanded role will bring further cohesion and clarity to our Marketing and Communications efforts across NBCUniversal International as a whole.”
