Hallmark International Takes Southern Star Drama

LONDON/SYDNEY, June 13: Southern Star International has
licensed the Bryan Brown series Two Twisted
to Hallmark International Channels.

Brown stars in and produces the 14×30-minute series from New
Town Films in association with the Australian Film Commission and the New South
Wales Film and Television Office. The series, a follow-up to Twisted Tales, was produced for Nine Network.

“We bought Two Twisted
unseen,” said Rosie Hill-Davies, director of broadcasting at Sparrowhawk Media,
parent company of Hallmark International Channels. “It’s a great concept with a
fantastic cast and an excellent producer and we can’t wait to start promoting
it. The deal was negotiated with Southern Star, with whom we have a long and
excellent relationship forged through McLeod’s Daughters, which has proved to be one of our most successful
series both in the U.K. and in many of our territories. We know that Two
Twisted
will prove to be just as
successful.”
