FOX Networks Group Content Distribution Bolsters Team

LONDON: Six new hires, along with a series of promotions, have been made at FOX Networks Group Content Distribution (FNGCD).

Tristan Oarton has been appointed as VP of finance, after having most recently served as VP of financial planning and analysis at Universal. He will be managing a team in London.

Out of Miami, Manuel Miguez will be serving as executive director of sales for Latin America and Hispanic U.S. Miguez joins from BBC Worldwide. Carolina Lozano, based in Colombia, joins Miguez as sales associate manager for Latin America. She most recently served as a sales executive at RCN.

Maria Grazia Ursino has been tapped as executive sales director for Italy, Spain and Portugal, and will be based in Rome. Grazia Ursino spent ten years as sales director at Sony Pictures Television, where she managed sales activities throughout Italian-speaking Europe.

JeeYoung Lee has been named executive director of sales for Japan, Korea and regional formats for Asia. Based in the Korean office, Lee joins the team with more than 20 years’ experience in content and format sales, most recently at Endemol, and before that Shine, Viacom and CJ Media.

Tracy Davis becomes the associate director for deal and rights management. She will oversee a newly created deal and rights management division in the London office. Prior to joining FOX Networks Group Content Distribution, Davis served as the commercial director for music at Endemol Shine Group, where she headed a team that managed the global music publishing and secondary rights administration for the worldwide group.

In addition to the new appointments, Joanna Rowley, who has been a member of the content distribution team for more than 20 years, was recently promoted to executive director of sales for Northern Europe and Africa. Magdalena Szwedkowicz has been upped to VP of sales for CEE and MENA, managing sales activity and a regional team based across London, Moscow, Warsaw and Istanbul.
