John Morayniss, the CEO of Entertainment One (eOne) Television, tells World Screen about how he is a firm believer in the power of partnerships, whether co-financing series with international partners or investing in production companies.

As a leading global independent owner and distributor of films, television programming and music, Entertainment One (eOne) develops, produces and sells scripted, factual, entertainment and digital content. John Morayniss, eOne Television’s CEO, has considerably increased the volume of projects his division finances, produces and distributes, which have included The Walking Dead, companion series Fear the Walking Dead and other original scripted series, including The Red RoadHap and LeonardHalt and Catch Fire, Into the Badlands and Turn, through the company’s exclusive distribution agreement with AMC Networks, as well as Designated Survivor from eOne’s The Mark Gordon Company. eOne also produces original series IceYou Me Her and Rogue for DirecTV; the upcoming Sharp Objects, from director Jean-Marc Vallée and starring Amy Adams for HBO; Mary Kills People for Global and Lifetime; and Ransom from executive producer Frank Spotnitz for CBS, Global, TF1 and RTL, among others.
