TEL AVIV: Dori Media Group is preparing for MIPCOM with a slate that showcases new formats and titles, including Dumb.

The new crime drama Dumb sees an actress go undercover as a high-school student to try to help her boyfriend who was arrested for dealing drugs. “Dumb is a strong comic crime drama with a story and characters that are international,” says Nadav Palti, the CEO and president of Dori Media Group.

Among the company’s new formats is the new shiny-floor game show The Best of All. “The combination of examining the ‘wisdom of the crowd’ theory, the amusing video questions, the ‘wow factor’ and the option to play at home makes this new game show different and interesting—just what buyers are looking for,” says Palti. Another format highlight, the street game show Intuition, comes from the creator of the successful format Smart Face.

Dori Media Group is also presenting the Séries Mania 2016 Grand Prix-winning crime drama El Marginal, a co-production from Underground Producciones and TV Publica. The lineup also includes the reality show Power Couple, which tests how well couples know each other. In addition, Dori is showcasing the comedy Game Over, following stand-up comedian Mickey as he prepares for his wedding.

Palti commented: “MIPCOM is a highlight in the entertainment world’s calendar and we are excited to present some excellent and innovative new formats that underline the diversity of our content offering. The fresh additions to our catalog will be accompanied by our award-winning El Marginal and the popular Power Couple. 2016 has been an excellent year of international sales for Dori Media and we expect this success to continue again at MIPCOM.”
