LONDON: Juliette Squair, a former Audio Network exec, has become the deputy CEO of TRX, the newly launched online deal-making tool for the buying and selling of TV rights.

Squair will work alongside TRX CEO Matthew Frank. She will concentrate on global marketing and the management of rights buyers coming to the website. TRX is currently in its BETA phase and is operational in Asia and CEE. It has already curated more than 5,000 hours of content on the platform.

Squair, who has experience working in the television production industry, is an existing TRX Advisory Board member. She previously served as chief strategy officer at Audio Network, which she helped transform from a small start-up to a leading global music brand. She first joined the company in 2002, becoming managing director in 2011 and chief strategy officer in 2014.

Squair commented: “I am very excited about taking a permanent leadership role at TRX. TRX is the first business I have come across since Audio Network which has all of the key ingredients for success. A perfect mix of passionate TV veterans, top-dollar tech experts and a product set to transform the efficiency, reach and revenue potential of the global TV rights trading industry.”

Frank added: “Juliette is a force to be reckoned with. She brings with her the perfect blend of relevant experience in taking a start-up from infancy to maturity together with her passion and enthusiasm for TRX. I know she will have a huge positive impact as we continue to roll out the TRX system to buyers and sellers around the world.”
