COO in Place at NBCU International Television Production

LONDON: Sarah Cooper, who previously served as the COO and deputy CEO at BBC Worldwide, has been tapped to fill the newly created role of COO at NBCUniversal International Television Production.

Taking effect March 11, Cooper’s new role sees her based in London and reporting to Michael Edelstein, the company’s president. Cooper will be taking on the day-to-day responsibilities for business and legal affairs, HR, finance, merchandising and licensing and format sales.

Edelstein said, “Sarah Cooper is one of the most outstanding and respected executives in the business and we are delighted that she has joined our growing team. She has a vast array of international experience and will be an invaluable asset as we continue to build NBCU International Television Production into the premiere destination for content creators working outside the United States.”
