SINGAPORE: Bomanbridge Media is set to introduce its slate of new programs at MIPTV 2016, including the finished tape and format rights for the Singapore-created show Fit for Fashion.

Created by Imagine Group, the transformational format features an international cast from the U.S., Australia and New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific. The second season of Fit for Fashion has launched, and Bomanbridge reports that international sales for both the format and the finished version are taking off. “Bomanbridge is excited to distribute the Singapore-created format, Fit for Fashion, conceptualized and produced by the renowned production company Imagine Group,” said Sonia Fleck, the CEO of Bomanbridge Media. “We are also pleased to distribute the finished international version that aired on Star World, demonstrating that Asia can offer great content for the worldwide market. Additionally, we are presenting a large slate of great new programs at MIP spanning factual, factual entertainment and kids’ content, and are looking forward to meeting current and new international partners.”

Another title on Bomanbridge’s MIPTV slate is the music-based reality talent format Got What It Takes?, which recently aired on CBBC in the U.K. The show celebrates the talents of 11 teen stars who are separated from their obsessive mothers while a professional vocal coach and a superstar mentor the contestants and coach the mothers. Bomanbridge also has the Asian rights for the factual entertainment show Kids Do the Craziest Things, featuring home-movie clips of youngsters around the world.

In the genre of nature and wildlife, the documentary The Dark Side of Crocs shines a light on the crocodiles that inhabit the Nile river in Africa. “The Dark Side of Crocs is one of a handful of our newest documentaries coming from the award-winning Nature Conservation Films Worldwide library,” says Fleck. “We expect that the new collection of wildlife titles will be an attractive addition to the catalogue.”

“These shows are reflective of the consistent quality that Bomanbridge offers,” Fleck adds. “The programs sell well and perform well ratings-wise for channels. We are known for having a stronghold on Asian distribution, which shall continue, but we are bringing very commercial product to the international table and look forward to expanding our network of broadcasters.”

In addition, Fleck will speak at MIPFormats on Sunday, April 3, at 3:40 p.m. on the panel When Brands Create Entertainment Formats, which will be held in Auditorium K at the Palais des Festivals.
