Atlanta, Veep Among Peabody Award Winners


The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors revealed the winners in this year’s entertainment category, with FX’s Atlanta and HBO’s Veep among the programs taking home a prize.

In addition to Atlanta (FX Productions) and Veep (HBO Entertainment), HBO’s Lemonade (HBO Entertainment in association with Parkwood Entertainment) and FX’s Better Things (FX Productions) were recognized with Peabody Awards. Netflix and BBC One’s Happy Valley (BBC One), Horace and Pete (Pig Newton) and Channel 4’s National Treasure (The Forge) round out the winners.

The Peabody Awards are based at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
