all3media International Hires for Scripted Acquisitions

LONDON: A number of new appointments have been made at all3media International, including the hire of a dedicated scripted acquisitions executive.

Laura White joins all3media International from the literary scouting agency Rosalind Ramsay, where she worked with U.K. drama indies on sourcing and developing new scripted adaptations. In this new acquisitions post, White will focus on further developing the company’s portfolio of scripted content. She reports to David Swetman, the VP of acquisitions.

In the commercial development team, Kate Potter joins as insight manager, reporting to Veronica Pottinen, the head of insight. Potter will work across the insight function, with particular emphasis on supporting the all3media International sales team. She has previously held programming strategy roles at Sky and MTV and research roles at Cineflix and Zodiak.

Sonja Underwood has been appointed to the role of head of marketing, reporting to Rachel Glaister, elevated to executive VP of international brands and press. Underwood will work closely with Glaister to lead the international marketing team in the delivery of a range of global campaigns across the company’s programming portfolio. Underwood joins from Sony Pictures Television, where she was territory director, developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans across the Baltic States and African continent.

The company has also created the new position of head of business affairs, reporting to Andrea Dunn, the executive VP of legal and business affairs, which will be announced shortly.
